In the realm of healthcare, there are individuals whose personal experiences spark a passion for change, driving them to create innovative solutions to address pressing needs within their communities. Ken and Leah Freeman, both seasoned healthcare professionals, embody this spirit of proactive wellness advocacy through their establishment of Go Wellness Clinic located at 4665 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77027. With an initial focus on Weight Loss, IV infusions, Vitamin Boosters, Peptides and Men’s Health.

Leah, a registered nurse with over a decade of experience, initially pursued a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from PVAMU and a postgraduate program at Texas Woman’s University. Working in an outpatient clinic, Leah witnessed firsthand the impact of acute illnesses on individuals and families. However, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that Leah experienced burnout and recognized the critical need for mental health support in her community.

Motivated by her own mental health struggles and armed with a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, Leah embarked on a new journey to become a licensed professional counselor and still continues to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. In 2023, she established Bloom Primary Wellness, offering trauma-informed primary care visits with hour-long sessions. Leah’s goal is to create a safe and compassionate space where individuals can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and work towards enhancing their overall well-being.

Complementing Leah’s expertise in mental health, Ken, a firefighter/paramedic with over 20 years of experience at HFD and Methodist Hospital, brings a unique perspective rooted in his frontline experiences. Witnessing the toll of heart disease on his colleagues, Ken delved into research and discovered the significant impact of dietary choices, particularly the consumption of processed meat, on heart health.

Inspired by his findings and motivated by personal health improvements after adopting a plant-based diet, Ken embarked on a mission to promote wellness within his community. Despite initial resistance, Ken embraced a plant-based lifestyle and experienced remarkable improvements in his energy levels and health markers, including blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Ken and Leah’s shared passion for holistic wellness and their combined expertise in healthcare led to the inception of Go Wellness Clinic. Founded with the vision of empowering individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals, Go Wellness Clinic offers comprehensive services aimed at improving overall well-being. Offering services for Weight Loss, IV infusions, Men’s Health, Vitamin Boosters and much more.

From mental health counseling to trauma-informed primary care, Go Wellness Clinic provides a holistic approach to healthcare, emphasizing preventive measures, lifestyle modifications, and personalized treatment plans. Through their clinic, Ken and Leah aim to educate and inspire others to prioritize their health and make informed choices that support long-term wellness.

In a world where health challenges abound, Ken and Leah Freeman stand as beacons of hope and advocates for positive change. Through their dedication, compassion, and commitment to wellness, they are making a profound impact on the lives of individuals and communities, one step at a time.

Together, Ken and Leah Freeman are leading the way to wellness with Go Wellness Clinic, where the journey to optimal health begins. For more information, visit www.gowellnessclinic.com or follow them on IG @gowellnessclinic.
