From Austin to San Antonio and DFW to Houston, Walters Wedding Estates aims to provide unforgettable wedding experiences to those who serve through their Weddings for Warriors initiative.

Planning a wedding is one of life’s most exciting milestones. But for military couples in Texas, a well-known wedding venue brand hopes to ease the financial burden that can sometimes accompany a dream celebration. Walters Wedding Estates, recognized as a leader in the industry with over 40 luxury venues across Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, continues its tradition of giving back through its Weddings for Warriors program.

This initiative provides military couples with an opportunity for a memorable wedding experience at no cost, acknowledging their service with a day as special as their sacrifice.

Texas Proud: Walters Wedding Estates Celebrates Military Love Stories

Since launching Weddings for Warriors, Walters Wedding Estates has contributed more than $1 million in wedding experiences. Each year, one couple at every participating Walters venue may be selected to receive a complimentary wedding package, including ceremony and reception space, catering, and beverages for up to 200 guests.

With dozens of venue options in iconic Texas locations—such as historic mansions, elegant estates, scenic hill country venues, and glamorous ballrooms—the diverse portfolio aims to offer meaningful backdrops that reflect the depth and dedication of military relationships.

Rooted in Legacy, Built on Gratitude

The origin of Weddings for Warriors traces back to Sarah Walters, founder of Walters Wedding Estates. Inspired by her grandfather, WWII veteran and First Lieutenant Thomas Clayton Quigley, the program was created in his memory—and in honor of his 69-year marriage to Sarah’s grandmother.

“It is our hope that Weddings for Warriors honors their love story and may bring years of happiness to other military couples,” Sarah shared.

This legacy of love and service has grown into a key part of Walters Wedding Estates’ efforts in philanthropy and community impact.

The Texas Wedding Experience: Elegant, All-Inclusive, and Stress-Free

Whether you’re dreaming of a garden ceremony in Austin, a chandelier-lit reception in Dallas, a hilltop celebration in San Antonio, or a stately manor wedding near Houston, Walters Wedding Estates strives to deliver a level of service and beauty that many consider a standard in Texas.

Each venue is part of an all-inclusive model designed to reduce the stress of wedding planning, helping couples focus on the moments that matter.

Military families often face tight schedules, long deployments, and unpredictable logistics. The Weddings for Warriors program aims to lessen those challenges by providing a well-coordinated, elevated experience focused on convenience, hospitality, and sincere appreciation.
