Others may move for political or professional reasons, pursuing environments that align with their goals and aspirations.

The United States: A Popular Choice for Migrants

Where do people migrate most often? Predictably, countries with high living standards and democratic governance attract the most migrants. The US is unrivaled in this context. Migrants make up 15% of the total population. In nominal terms, the number of migrants in the US is 50 million. This is a huge number. Germany, which holds the second position in this ranking, has only 16 million migrants. I agree; the difference is simply colossal.

Things have gotten to the point that scientists are making the following prediction: in the coming years, the US population will grow more due to migrants than due to the birth of new Americans.
