Amid aphasia brain disorder, Bruce Willis looks fit and healthy while out to breakfast with friend. He was wearing a dark green shirt, blue jeans, and sunglasses.

An aphasia typically causes people to have difficulty speaking or understanding language and can lead to trouble writing as well. Bruce revealed he was diagnosed with the brain disorder in 2012.

The 57-year-old “Die Hard” star spoke about his experience of aphasia and how it impacted him on an upcoming episode of “Inside the Actor’s Studio” on August 11th.

Bruce said: “The biggest thing I had to overcome was not being able to talk and having somebody standing two feet from me asking me a question, and I literally couldn’t think of the words. Suddenly, my brain would kick in, and I’d go, ‘I can’t talk right now.'”

He also told host James Lipton how teaching sign language helped him to regain his speech. Willis explained: “That’s the way the doctors suggested I start. And then it built up over time. It came back like rusty water through a rusty pipe.”

His wife Emma Heming-Willis is an English model – who he married in 2009 – but he revealed he had trouble communicating with her at first. Bruce said: “There were times when my wife and I couldn’t communicate with each other. It was frustrating, because I knew what I wanted to say, but the words wouldn’t come out of my mouth.”

Bruce has been back in action after the release of “A Good Day to Die Hard.” On July 4th, “A Good Day to Die Hard” grossed $1.2 million during its midnight showing – landing the No. 7 spot at the box office.

The action film brought in low figures at a total of $25 million – while the previous films in this franchise averaged $35 million during their first week at the box office.

Aphasia is a disorder that affects the ability to communicate. It occurs in people who have had brain damage, like a stroke. This can affect any area of the brain and it can cause different symptoms in different people.

Symptoms of aphasia include: difficulty understanding spoken or written language, difficulty with reading and writing, problems producing speech-like sounds (e.g., problems with pronunciation), word-finding difficulties (e.g., “tip of the tongue” phenomenon), inability to read or write due to impaired eye sight, confusion about numbers and common words, and inappropriate responses when speaking or writing

Bruce Willis was diagnoses with this condition after he suffered an accident on set for his latest movie “Cop Out”. He was out of action for some time, and during this time, he lost his voice from the accident.

The disorder causes a person to have trouble speaking or understanding words.

People with aphasia may have difficulties reading and writing, as well as lose their ability to speak. They may also have problems to remember where they heard words or what they mean. Also people with aphasia may have difficulties in thinking about things (e.g., understanding directions) that are not related to their immediate environment (e.g., difficulty confronting new situations).
